We're Having Another Baby Girl!

We've decided on naming her Adriana Ruth Schoonveld, and as of right now she's due August 19th.  We were originally told she was due August 12th, but apparently she is measuring smaller.

We also found out that Adriana's umbilical cord only consists of 1 artery and 1 vein, versus the normal 2 arteries and 1 vein.  This occurs in about 1% of single baby pregnancies, and about 5% of pregnancies with multiple babies.  In 73% of cases, this does not cause any complications.  The odds are in our favor!  The other 27% suffer from complications ranging from very minor to potentially serious.  Matt and I do not know much at this point, but April 4th we are scheduled for a Stage Two Ultrasound at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.  This will give us more information (and more pictures!). I will also have to undergo more testing after 32 weeks gestation, and make sure premature labor is not an issue.

Adriana is an extremely active baby and seems like fun!  We continue to pray that everything goes well, and that she comes out just as healthy as her sisters!
